The radiant cut is the answer for couples torn between two shapes. It carries the clipped corners and elongated outline of an emerald cut, but replaces the calm step facets with 70 brilliant facets that fill the stone with fire. From across the room it reads as glamour; up close, that dense faceting produces the crushed ice effect the shape is loved for.

Radiants are also quietly practical. Those cropped corners have no vulnerable point to chip, which makes the radiant one of the most durable elongated shapes for everyday wear, and the brilliant faceting is forgiving, masking small inclusions far better than open step cuts do. Even so, we do not lean on that forgiveness: every radiant we set is E or F colour, VS1 clarity or better, certified by IGI or GIA, and shown to you on video before it is set. Most of our commissions sit around a 1.30 to 1.45 length to width ratio for that lengthening look on the hand.
