The round brilliant is the most studied cut in the history of diamonds, refined over a century to a mathematical ideal of 57 facets that return more light to the eye than any other shape. Nothing sparkles harder. It is the shape that never dates, never divides opinion, and looks correct in every setting we make, from the plainest solitaire to a full pave halo.
Because rounds are cut to a strict formula, quality differences show up in the grading rather than the outline, and this is where we are uncompromising. Every round we set is an ideal or excellent cut, D or E colour, VS1 clarity or better, certified by IGI or GIA. A round holds slightly less face-up spread than an elongated shape of the same carat, which is exactly why couples choose it: all of the weight goes into depth, and depth is what drives that signature fire.

Yes. The round brilliant is cut to a formula of 57 facets engineered to return the maximum possible light to the eye, so no other shape matches its fire and brilliance. It is the benchmark every other cut is measured against.
Do round diamonds look smaller than ovals?
Slightly. A round carries more of its carat weight in its depth rather than its face, which is exactly what produces its signature sparkle. If face-up size is your priority, an elongated shape spreads further; if light performance matters most, nothing beats a round.
