A wedding band is the ring you actually live in: it goes where your hands go, every day, for the rest of the story. Ours are hand-crafted to order at our Edward Street workshop, in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold or platinum, set with the same lab-grown diamonds as our engagement rings: D or E colour, VS1 clarity or better. Because the diamonds are lab-grown, a band lined with them starts at $2,290 rather than several times that.
The decisions that matter are fit and coverage. A half eternity band carries diamonds across the face of the finger and leaves the underside in smooth metal, which makes it easier to resize and gentler to wear; a full eternity band circles entirely in diamonds for light at every angle. Just as important is how the band meets your engagement ring: straight bands suit most solitaires, while some settings ask for a contoured or notched band shaped by hand to sit flush. Will a wedding band sit flush with my engagement ring?
Most straight bands sit flush against solitaires, and where a setting needs more room we shape the band to it: contoured, curved or notched by hand. Bring your engagement ring to a fitting and we will match the profile exactly, even if your ring was made elsewhere.
What is the difference between a half and full eternity band?
A half eternity band carries diamonds across the top of the finger with smooth metal beneath, making it easier to resize and more comfortable for hands that work. A full eternity band is set with diamonds the whole way around, so it sparkles from every angle. We make both, and will show you each on your hand.
Can eternity bands be resized?
Half eternity bands can usually be resized like any ring. Full eternity bands cannot be resized in the usual way because diamonds circle the entire band, which is why we confirm sizing carefully at your fitting, and why every band includes one careful check and adjustment within 90 days where the design allows.
How much does a women's diamond wedding band cost?
Our diamond set bands start at $2,290 with lab-grown diamonds in D to E colour and VS1 clarity or better, verified by independent valuation, and most sit between $2,420 and $4,110 complete depending on carat coverage and metal. Most of our stones are VVS clarity. A custom shaped band to fit your engagement ring is quoted at your consultation.
