Orlaithea is a Brisbane fine jewellery house, founded by Zac and built on decades of craft passed down from his father, master jeweller Nick. Every piece is designed and hand-crafted in our Edward Street studio, around exceptional lab-grown diamonds.
The founder, Zac
For the past several years I have designed jewellery alongside my father, Nick, a master craftsman with decades of experience creating extraordinary pieces for a highly selective clientele: rare coloured diamonds and some of the most exclusive gems sourced from around the world.
I grew up inside that legacy, watching jewellery tell stories, mark moments, and become something treasured for generations. When lab-grown diamonds arrived, I saw the chance to honour the same craftsmanship while making it accessible to far more people.
Orlaithea brings the two together: timeless, hand-crafted jewellery made with the same care and attention, now set with ethically grown diamonds of exceptional quality, at a fraction of the cost.
The workshop, Edward Street
Our studio sits on Edward Street in the heart of Brisbane, where every Orlaithea piece is designed and hand-crafted. Because design and making never leave the building, we control every stage, and every piece meets the same exacting standard of quality and finish.
You work directly with Zac from the first sketch, backed by knowledge passed down from Nick at the same bench. Our clients often tell us how refreshing it is to deal with the person actually creating their jewellery, not a salesperson. That connection is the whole point.

The First Conversation
You sit with Zac, not a salesperson. We listen first. The brief is yours; the sketch comes after.
The Design
Your ring is drawn and refined in front of you, adjusted until it is exactly what you wanted, often something you couldn't describe until you saw it.
The Making
The same hands that drew it make it. Two master jewellers, one diamond setter, nothing outsourced. Ten business days, hand-crafted.
The Handover
Delivered by the person who designed it, fully insured with a video preview. And we service every Orlaithea ring for life.
For years, we watched lab-grown diamonds quietly find their place. The same fire. The same hardness. The same brilliance. A different relationship with the earth, and with the people wearing them.
Our intention was simple: to craft beautiful pieces, made by hand, around diamonds that don't ask you to choose between size, quality, or conscience.
